The game is now powered by tons of changes and features that are sure to get its fans blood churning again. Grand Chase now features a new world map and a friendlier user interface that makes this action adventure brawler a lot more interesting. It has also made the game simpler by giving more detailed in game information optimizing overall gaming experience.
Dungeons
Dungeons are now relocated and players can now use unlimited consumable items. It also comes with a progress indicator that is conveniently displayed at the bottom of the screen. The progress bar shows if a dungeon is available for questing and represented by an exclamation point.
A bar also shows if all the quests in that dungeon have been accomplished. It also indicates if you’re grinding for experience points or finishing a quest. New touches include a new result window showing the stage’s difficulty, total time for finishing the stage, stage bonuses and your rating. The new dungeon result window also gives overall results, experience points earned and bonuses.
Other changes to dungeon game play also include rank progress checking while playing. The new window is located at lower right section of the screen. The system automatically resets the information once a new stage is completed.
Quests, quests, quests
Grand Chase now comes with over 300 quests that are available for every character from level 1 to 65 that are separated by difficulty. The level of difficulty is represented by different colors. Orange represents quests that reward players with 100 percent experience points and GP reward, White comes with a 50 percent EXP and GP reward. Finally, gray gives 30 percent experience and rewards to boot.
With the coming of Season 3 comes a new experience reward feature that gives them bonuses for completing quests at lower levels. This gives players more impetus in completing missions early in the game.
World Map
The world map is now simpler with two large continents containing the regions of Elia, Achemedia, Silver Land, and Bermesiah. Xenia remains to be separated from the lands by being located as an island in the heavens.
User Interface
Old players will welcome the easier drop acquisition feature and enhanced graphics for better game play. Icons now are displayed in 3D icons making them easier to identify. Wooden boxes contain miscellaneous items while blue boxes carry weapons and armors.
Another new addition is how players earn gains in the game. Previously, gains were awarded by the random mode but now appears as a dice roll. When items are dropped as a result of playing with a party, the item is decided by a dice roll giving the member with the corresponding number the loot.
Items are not the only things dropped during the game. Experience points also appear as blue orbs dropped by defeated enemies. GPs also come in coins that filter out of enemies, be sure to check this out as you might find yourself getting lucky by killing a monster that has a GP fountain gushing out with coins.
Indicators also conveniently display important information such as monster and portal locations giving them a clear perspective on their exact position. This enables players to finish dungeons easier eliminating countless of searching for monsters or doors to the next level.
