Atlantica Online is an MMORPG that lets you control up to nine characters with its unique turned- based fighting system. The game also gives players a chance to revisit the past, letting you fight alongside heroes from the past. Get a chance to practice some leadership skills by choosing your own party and getting the chance to lead them in battle.

Gaining the upper hand isn’t as simple as other MMORPG’s. The first step in dominating the realm is by choosing your party and getting an alliance with other players to form guilds. Alliances or guilds helps you control of cities and their resources letting you impose taxes to power your military machine.

Atlantica Online is set to release the Tactical Battle System which allows more players to engage in a single battle. This feature enables players a deeper bite into strategy and planning for future battles. Currently, battles are limited to 3 versus 3 players which pit 27 characters on each side trying to eliminate each side. The new system allows massive battles between more players, engaging armies of up to a hundred characters on each side dwarfing previous exchanges.

Strategy and tactics has always been the game’s bread and butter and the new battle system will make master tacticians draw new plays in their playbooks. Recruiting the perfect team is probably the most important thing to consider as individual players and their team can decide the outcome of each battle.

Along with the introduction of the Tactical Battle System comes Atlantica Online’s take on the Trojan Wars. In the game’s version of this famous Greek story, Troy is a fortress city garrisoned by hordes of monsters protecting it from the prying eyes of men.

Day after day, battles between Sparta’s proud warriors and the monsters which inhabit the walled city made it evident that even Greece mightiest army was outmanned. And with stories that Troy’s battle chest contained Oriharukon, the source of ancient Atlantis powers powering the evil armies that lie behind its walls banishing this evil presence from the land has become a quest for everyone.

Atlantica Online’s turn-based battle system is truly unique. It has even been made better with the introduction of the new Tactical Battle System. In the old system, mercenary movements were limited to battle or set formations. With the new TBS, individual mercenaries could be independently positioned allowing different players to concentrate their forces in any way they desire.

This allows players to position individual mercenaries and take advantage of their strengths and weaknesses. With greater freedom come greater risks. Unlike set formations where you can choose from predetermined positions, placing your more vulnerable characters away from your tankers could leave you reeling from massive blows decimating your army in the process.
