Crossfire follows the feud between two mercenary forces, the Black List and the Global List. Similar to the very popular Counterstrike, Black List follows the terrorist while Global Risk follows the counter-terrorist group.
Blacklist is a terrorist group hell bent on spawning chaos to generate profits. Despite its vast influence on the modern world, this group seems to originate and operate in Third world countries.
Global Risk is a typical group of well-armed good guys solely dedicated to safeguard the world from terrorism. Global Risk is a UN sanctioned mercenary group officiated by a retired SAS officer, travelling the world in a search and destroy mission for any terrorist activities.
Both factions are armed to the teeth with the latest in urban, desert and guerilla warfare. Only skill will determine who wins. Will you barge in with your guns blazing or will you wait for your prey to enter your crosshair. Keep your finger on the trigger and let the bullets fly.
Players start with two default weapons, the standard M16 rifle and M700 Sniper and two HE Grenades. What better way to start than to have 50000 game points in your pocket. You have your usual arsenal of shotguns, sub-machineguns, automatic rifles and sniper rifles.
Tired of the usual combat knife then swap them for those bloody axes for a change. Once you buy a certain gun, it will remain in your inventory until you get rid of it yourself. The only caveat is that you will need to maintain your guns at tip-top shape.
Players can purchase their character from the item mall and dress the character up. Going into a fight with the same suit can be boring so customization is the only way to go. Each item can be purchased and personalized separately. Available also are special name cards to flaunt that one of a kind name and spray paints to differentiate your character from others.
