• Game testers receive instructions in English, thus, a good command of this language is required. Most gaming companies use English as a primary means of communication.

• An aspiring individual should have an access to a fast and reliable internet connection.

• Some games require that game testers have other game consoles on hand. These additional gadgets are not provided by all gaming companies.

• Although the nature of the job is playing games, an individual should be able to handle himself professionally at work.

• Paying attention to details is one of the most important duties of a game tester. Companies gather these observations which are vital in the process of game development.

Working at the comforts of your home is probably the best thing of this job; getting paid is another. However, just like any other job, responsibilities should not be neglected such as sending accurate reports for further improvements of the game.

Currently, the popularity of the game testing industry is on the rise. Though this job opportunity may not be widespread in employment directories or boards, interested individuals are encouraged to check out game companies if they need any. Certainly, they need all the assistance they can get in order to release an award-winning, enjoyable and awesome game.
