Dragonica Online Basics: Character Jobs and Classes

Dragonica has 4 base classes for your characters: Warrior, Magician, Archer and Thief. You can upgrade each one to a different job once you reach level 20, and even further at level 40. Like others, skills and attributes are dependent on your character’s class. Depending on what kind of gamer you are, or what kind of skills you’d prefer to have, you have choices amongst Dragonica’s character offerings. Let’s have a look at each of them.

Warriors
Warriors have the highest health points and strength, making them valuable in all battles. They use melee weapons, and are both adept in attacks and defenses. They have various active and passive skills which are very useful in battle. They may be promoted to Gladiators or Knights at level 20.

Gladiators
Gladiators are the only ones who can use the large, double-handed Claymores. They have great attack powers, and can deal great damages to an area-of-effect, damaging a number of enemies in one blow. They have skills which can add strength, attack and speed to themselves, as well as decreasing enemies’ attack and acceleration with their battle cry. They may be promoted to Firebrands at level 40.

Knights
Knights have the ultimate armor and health points, making them very valuable tankers, while still dealing damage to their enemies. They also have a strong stamina, and great defense skills. They have skills to buff themselves, adding up rates to their defense and block. They can also reflect 30% back to their attackers, making them very precious against characters with high damages. They can be promoted to Paladins at level 40.

Magicians
Magicians can deal high damages to other characters, but have low hit points. However, they can always battle from afar. They can hurl fireballs, call on meteors and attack a number of enemies all at the same time. They have high intelligence and MPs. They can be promoted to Acolytes or Battlemagi at level 20.

Acolytes
Acolytes can both heal and deal damages. They can also detect hidden enemies, making them quite valuable in parties. They can freeze enemies, summon flame orbs, increase HP regeneration on themselves and their parties. They can be promoted to Oracles at level 40.

Battle Magi
Battle magi are deadly spell casters, able to deal great damages to large areas and to a number of enemies in one blow. They can increase their physical and magical attack power, push back enemies, and hurl enemies into the air with tornadoes. They can be promoted to Warmagi at level 40.

Archers
Archers have great speed and can attack from afar. Although they have low damage per hit, they have very high attack speed rates and can launch their enemies to the air, making them unable to move while they shoot them with quick arrow. They can be promoted to Hunters or Rangers at level 20.

Hunters
Hunters can trap enemies and summon attacks while they use their long bows. They are ranged warriors who can trap their enemies, before moving on for a quick kill. They can also increase their evasion rates. They can be promoted to trappers at level 40.

Rangers
Rangers have the highest attack rates, and are considered as a part of an elite group which has undergone harsh trainings. They can deal great area-of-effect damages, making them valuable in places with dozens of enemies. They can be promoted to Ballistas at level 40.

Thieves
Considered as the greatest melee-damagers in Dragonica, they combine power and ability as they attack with their claws. They can take down enemies quite fast, launch them into the air, and increase their speed. They can be promoted to Jesters or Assassins at level 20.

Jesters
Jesters, even if they may sound funny, have strong area-of-effect attacks and can hide under grounds, or in boxes, until they decide to attack their enemies while they are off-guard. They can increase their evasion and increase their party members’ strengths and intelligence. They can be promoted to Harlequin at level 40.

Assassins
Capable of killing without being detected, they use katars and have high evasion rates. They can be stealth, and can block attacks without much damage. They can even sneak around undetected, and plant a surprise attack to their enemies with one blow. They can be promoted to Ninjas at level 40.
