Hey guys!
I'm here to tell you guys about Grand Fantasia.

Sprite System
Grand Fantasia is a pretty fun game that has a unique Sprite System~
When creating your character, you will also be creating your very first Guardian Sprite.
These Guardian Sprites will grow and evolve based on your growth.
For example, a Guardian Sprite will change shape during Stage 2 which will occur when you are level 21.
Anyways, these Sprites are basically Grand Fantasia's Crafting system.

Each Sprite is unique in that they have different Gathering and Crafting skills.
For Gathering skills, there's Mining, Foraging, and Hunting.
As for Crafting skills, there are many different kinds of Crafting skills, each unique to a certain Character Job Class and to a certain Sprite.

Besides your Guardian Sprite, a player can receive two more Sprites by using a Sprite Summoning Item.
These Sprites are called "Wild Sprites".
Wild Sprites will not grow and evolve based on your level.
However, you CAN summon stronger Sprites after reaching a certain level.
You can also release Wild Sprites back into nature by releasing them at Altars.
This will allow you to summon Stage 1 Wild Sprites as a lower level and
then release them to summon a Stage 2 Wild Sprite when you reach level 21.

Sprites can also wear different items to aid in the success rates of their Gathering and Crafting.
Any level Sprite can wear a hat, but only Stage 2 Sprites can wear clothes.

Character Classes
Aside from the Sprite System, there are many different character classes to fit everyone's liking~
There's your standard Fighter, Hunter, Acolyte, and Spellcaster classes as your first job.
And then each first job can advance to a more professional role at Level 15.
Fighters become Warriors, Hunters become Archers, Acolytes become Priests, and Spellcasters become Mages.

Then, characters can advance again to a third job!
This time, however, there are two different roads that you can go after reaching level 30.

For Warriors, you can become either a Paladin or a Berserker.
Paladins focus on Defense and Healing while Berserkers focus on "lethal fighting skills".

For Archers, you can become either Rangers or Assassins.
Rangers focus on long-ranged attacks while Assassins focus on swift melee attacks.

For Priests, you can become either a Cleric or a Sage.
Clerics are your standard Healer-type class with buffs and high level heals while Sages transform into different Beasts for bonuses.
A rather unique class, if I may say so myself.

Finally, for Mages, you can become either a Wizard or a Necromancer.
Wizards are the standard offensive spellcasters with powerful elemental spells while Necromancers can summon Undead to do their bidding and also debuff enemies.

Final Thoughts
Whoo~~ That took a lot.
Anyways, I enjoyed Grand Fantasia back during one of the Beta tests.
I love the graphics and crafting was a lot of fun. * u *
Also, I loved playing as a Warrior going Berserker.
Dealing damage with a Heavy Axe was just so fun and appealing. :>
As a 3D game, the world is rather expansive and hard to traverse, but if you stick it out, you can get a Mount Summoning item as early as level 24.

It seems Aeria has added a bunch of new features since I've last played including PvP and the upcoming Battlegrounds feature.
Hopefully, they'll be adding 3rd jobs soon. * u *
Demonologist and Mystic sounds pretty enticing! :>

Anyways, here's the link for you guys.
This game is definitely worth playing~
