    The strategy browser-based game, Land of Destiny, has been released this December, and has since attracted 2997 members in-game (yes... not quite 3000), and is free to play.

    Description: Land of Destiny is a strategy game set in medieval times. The object of the game is to survive against competing players, or to co-operate with your neighbours to complete greater achievements. Land of Destiny is unique because it mixes strategic gameplay with multiplayer diplomacy, and a complex manufacturing-system for producing valuable items. There are also different graphics for every (spring, summer, fall, winter) seasonal-change in-game.

    Browser based 3d and text based game would be a good section. There are a lot of great ones out there. From "age of empires" to "prison struggle", these are my favs because it is about the players, not graphics and such.
