Battle of the Immortals is another MMORPG brought to you by Perfect World Entertainment. BoI has many similar aspects of PWE games like the auto-navigation to quest system, however it does not have the botting system that other PWE games have. It also features a different look to the game which is a more American and more realistic feel to the game.
The first thing you’ll notice about BoI is the armor. It looks impressive and has movable parts. The gear is very detailed and customizable. This gear can grow and be upgraded as you use it. Each of the 5 classes BoI offers has different soul gear that tailors to their class.
BoI also features a very detailed pet system that goes even beyond its other games. The pets will be important in both PvE and PvP and there are many different pets for you to obtain. BoI also has mounts that are mostly bought from the cash shop that you can fight while riding on them.
BoI has many different types of quests to play, though it can get repetitive. There is also a weekly double exp amount that you can obtain too. BoI also features heavy PvP action as there are multiple arenas and dungeons where you can test your PvP skills. The classes are well balanced though the cash shop can help tip the scale at times. There is even open world PvP if you flag for that as well.
BoI presents a different type of game than the other PWE games. It represents more of a medieval setting than the previous Asian themed games. It has a faster pace and more action in its combat, and doesn’t have the bot that players either like or hate.
