Before an epic conclusion to a story, there has to be calm before the storm or a major prelude to what’s to come. In the World of Warcraft, everyone knows that a major battle is bound to happen, one that involves the titular Lich King. But before embarking on the greatest of all challenges, you’ll have to undergo a preparation process and a test to prove yourself worthy.

Enter the latest patch to the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, aptly named Call of the Crusade. The new additions focus on the next major storyline of the second expansion, where the Crusader’s Coliseum at the Argent Training Grounds is finally located and becomes the main location.
Patch 3.2 has been tailored to make the game a much simpler experience to handle, thanks to the major changes that have occurred as a form of compensation. First off, all 5 man instances and 10 to 25 man raids in Northrend, prior to patch 3.2, drop Emblems of Conquest, once quite exclusive to the 25 man Ulduar instance, making it easier for characters to catch up and see the new content offered for this patch. However, the new 10 and 25 man instances, as well as the daily heroic quests, offer the new Emblems of Triumph needed for much stronger items to ensure survival against the new bosses.
The new instances, Trial of the Champion (5 Man) and Trial of the Crusader (10 and 25 Man), feature a gauntlet of bosses that players will have to beat one by one for them to proceed further. Trial of the Champion which features three bosses and includes a mount battle and a final encounter with the Black Knight. Trial of the Crusader is a different matter all together. When patch 3.2 went live, the bosses from the 10 and 25 man raid debuted one by one everyweek (which includes a raid wide PVP battle and a battle with the Twin Val’kyrs) until the fifth week when the final battle in the Coliseum revealed none other than Anub’arak. After you clear the new raid, there is a much harder version of the 10 and 25 man to overcome, and these will truly test the mettle of any raid group or guild. One minor catch, though: you have a limited amount of tries to finish the bosses in the heroic mode.
Along with the new raid locations, we also get to witness the birth of a new PVP battleground, aka the first 40 on 40 battle since Alterac Valley, called the Isle of Conquest. The objective is to kill the general of the opposing faction who is secured inside a keep, but you have to take control of the battleground to gain some tactical advantages like siege weapons, bonuses and other means to break the Keeps walls or infiltrate its defenses.
